There are no words to describe the horrible conditions that these kids have to endure on a daily basis. No food, no water, no warm clothes or shoes for the winter.
We try to sustain their families in the most hash periods of their lives. While the parents(in most cases it’s just one parent) are struggling to find a job their kids are unattended and spend all their time on the streets.
We are hoping to build a safe place for these kids to spend their time and most importantly learn.
Our idea is quite simple. We want to bring people from different professions to teach our kids how to work with wood, learn about art and music.
For teenagers, we think that besides a Wood workshop we can do a metal workshop one.
This will allow our kids to gain a profession that will give them a future.
We are planning to teach them to craft furniture and other wood related objects including art pieces.
For the metal workshop, our idea is to teach them to construct their own bicycles and spare parts. This will allow them to experience an engineered line of thought. In our opinion, this could potentially grow into a business model for these young boys. This will help them sustain themselves and their families.
We think that Art and Music lessons will help them discover a whole new world.
There are professional specialists and teachers that are eager to help these children.
The next step is to create a space and bring the necessary tools to do that.
